Welcome to my first AUGUST OVERVIEW! Last month I did my July favourites, where I talked to you all through everything I was loving throughout the past month. But, I thought it would be cool and different to give you a complete overview of my month instead. You can expect blog posts, growth reports, Instagram posts and much more!
Time batching is a productivity system where you group together similar tasks in a fixed time period. Grouping like tasks together reduces distraction time for a more continuous workflow.
If you are part of my email list, then you would already know about this new discovery. I found out about this genius technique from The Skinny Confidential Podcast.
I don’t know what I would do without Google Calendar! I’m afraid to say that I will never stop talking about this genius invention. Don’t get me wrong, my weeks are not always this hectic and full all the time, this was one of my most productive weeks in the month of August.
Google Calendar really does keep me sane! If I find myself getting overwhelmed, the first thing I do is go straight to my calendar and time block EVERY LITTLE THING. My secret to staying productive and efficient is and will probably always be Google Calendar.
I bought my tripod in December because I wanted to post more on my Instagram but I didn’t want to rely on anyone to take my pictures for me. Thank the Lord I bought it then because it SAVED me during quarantine. It even came with a Bluetooth clicker so I am able to take hundreds of photos without using the self-timer.
If you live in England you know all about the massive heatwave we experienced on a few occasions. England is NOT fit for this weather, the heat just chokes you. This little fan SAVED me! Without this, I would’ve had many sleepless nights.
August has really been the month where I got even more into podcasts, especially “self-help” ones. I’ve watched Kenzie Elizabeth for over 3 years now and she recently came out with a podcast.
If you are interested in creating multiple streams of income, check out the episode she did with Sarah Belle! It was very insightful…
I may be going crazy but as soon as my 20th birthday was approaching I was hit with CONSTANT aches and pains all over! Yes, I am a bit dramatic, but extra is my middle name hehe.
Having said that, my foam roller has helped my back tremendously! I can’t lie, it’s very painful but you instantly feel relief when you finish using it. If you have been hit with the “20’s” aches and pains, GET. THIS. FOAM. ROLLER!!
August was all about University prep! As university season is fastly approaching, I hope all of my posts were helpful to you.
I took a little step back from my Instagram in the month of July because it wasn’t fun anymore. I lost all of my motivation and outfit inspiration. Saying that I fell in love with taking pictures of my outfits again!
From the moment I launched my website, I designated HOURS AND HOURS of my time into Pinterest. In a week, I saw so much growth! I hope to write a whole post, all about the tools I use and what I did to grow my Pinterest. But I want to wait until I spend a bit more time on it.
And that’s it!
Stay tuned for my September Overview! See you next Monday xx
